Awning Windows: Where This Design Earns Its Keep
Bathrooms are a good example because ventilation, privacy, safety, and reach all have to work together.
A high horizontal window can bring in daylight without placing a large clear pane at eye level. Privacy glass can help, but it does not solve every privacy concern by itself.
